Tori Brady

As a a 43 year resident of the Long Beach peninsula, Ms. Tori is deeply rooted in the community and truly enjoys the small town life. Her appreciation for local wild life ,the abundance of scenic beauty, or the mere amplitude of various organic bounties, and experience, might all bring an element of flavor to her lesson planning at one time or another.

She is a seasoned veteran of thirty some odd years and brings plenty of experience to the table, when it comes to facing the joys and challenges of caring for and teaching young children. As a homemaker/stay-at-home  Mother of four, she has successfully ushered two sons, and two daughters into adulthood. During the course of her child rearing , she operated an in-home daycare for many years, volunteered as a youth worker, mentoring teens through a local youth group, and has devoted countless years to various aspects of children's ministry; from leading children's worship songs, working in arts & crafts, coordinating games, to teaching all ages of Sunday school. (currently teaching grades 1-3 at her home church) She has offered her time to many a summer, of Vacation Bible School, and had some experience working as a substitute in the local high school special education class.

With ten years experience under her belt, assisting in the classroom setting, and working in a lead staff position at a local Preschool/Daycare center, she has garnered a wealth of knowledge, training and certification through many Washington STARS training, Early Childhood Development courses and continues to work on her skill set in the pursuit of learning, and seeking out the many topics pertaining to the edification and tutelage of young children.

Ms. Tori has been enthusiastically engaging and interacting with preschoolers at the Love, Laughter, & Learning Center since 2012. She endeavors to prepare fun, learning activities and lesson plans that will support each child's level of growth and development.

In her free time, she enjoys playing with her one year old granddaughter Abby, walking the Discovery Trail with either of her sons, doing shopping/lunch, with her Mother & daughters, and spending time in fellowship with her church family. She enjoys playing guitar, writing worship songs, singing on the worship team at her church,and the study of God's Word. She shares her home with her husband and three cats, and cherishes time spent with her husband David, who drives for UPS.
